Introducing Fibrecoat 2.5L Roof Sealer – a cutting-edge solution for protecting and sealing a variety of surfaces. This polyurethane-based formula, enriched with Dralon acrylic fibres, offers a unique and effective approach to creating a flexible and watertight membrane for your roofing needs.
Polyurethane-Based Formula: Fibrecoat relies on a polyurethane-based formula, known for its durability and flexibility. This advanced formula provides a strong and lasting seal, making it ideal for roofs, sheds, lean-tos, and guttering.
Dralon Acrylic Fibres Integration: The key to Fibrecoat's effectiveness lies in the integration of Dralon acrylic fibres. As the Fibrecoat cures, these fibres knit together, creating a flexible membrane that is both durable and watertight. This innovative combination ensures a reliable and long-lasting seal for various surfaces.
Solvent-Based: Fibrecoat is a heavily solvent-based product, enhancing its performance and ensuring effective penetration into surfaces for optimal sealing. It is recommended to wear gloves while handling the product due to its solvent-based nature.
Ventilation: Fibrecoat requires thorough stirring before use. It is also crucial to use the product in a well-ventilated area and ensure proper air circulation during application.
Versatile Applications: Fibrecoat is designed to seal a variety of surfaces, including roofs, sheds, lean-tos, and guttering. Its versatility makes it a reliable choice for protecting and waterproofing different structures. However, it is not recommended for fish pond repair where aquatic animals may come into contact with the product.
How To Apply: It is important that the surface being treated is properly prepared and structurally sound before application. While we have tested the product on a wide range of materials, it is impossible to test on every possible surface. For example, certain woods may contain oil-based additives or be pressure-treated (tanalised), which can reduce adhesion.
Some plastics can also contain a high oil content, which may prevent proper bonding. In these cases, thorough sanding to create a keyed, roughened surface will significantly improve adhesion and overall performance.
We always recommend carrying out a small test patch first and allowing it to fully cure before proceeding with the entire area. This ensures correct adhesion and confirms the final finish meets your expectations.
Upgrade your sealing and waterproofing projects with Fibrecoat 2.5L Roof Sealer. Experience the strength of polyurethane, the flexibility of Dralon acrylic fibres, and the reliability of a solvent-based formula in a single product. Ensure lasting protection for your surfaces with Fibrecoat, a solution designed for durability and performance.
